The Six Articles

Every person matters, simply because they exist. Worth cannot be earned and cannot be taken away. Gods, souls, and what follows death remain open questions, for each person to answer in their own way.

Truth matters, even when it is uncomfortable, costly, or unwelcome. Believing what is true, changing one’s mind in the face of better evidence, and refusing comforting lies are acts of respect — for oneself, for others, and for the world as it actually is.

Life depends on the living world. Living unsustainably is self-terminating.

Every person deserves equal rights and equal dignity. No one is worth more or less by birth, by belief, by wealth, or by the accidents of their circumstance.

Seeking violence for gain, ideology, or revenge is never justified. But refusing to defend the innocent — including by force, when no other path remains — is its own betrayal of these beliefs. Force used in defence is a last resort, taken with regret, kept proportionate, and never mistaken for a virtue.

A meaningful life is not only ethical conduct. Beauty, love, play, awe, and delight are not distractions from what matters but part of what matters.
